Our base in the small, peaceful village of Kalvträsk provides the perfect setting for a focused photographic adventure.Surrounded by pristine landscapes and rich winter wildlife, this is an experience that combines comfort, excitement and exceptional photographic potential.

There is no better place to photograph Golden Eagles than on the edge of the Scandinavian Pine forests, heated purpose-built hides. Located close to the White Mountains nature reserve,these exceptional facilities offer photographers access to themost magnificent raptors in their natural winter habitat.The hides are perfectly positioned with ancient old-growthforest, and dramatic mountains giving you the perfect backdropfor your images. The wilderness here provides the idealenvironment for capturing Golden Eagles and a diverse array ofArctic wildlife.

The timber hide is specially designed for wildlife photographers, featuring a log burner heater or gas heater for comfort in Arctic conditions, a toilet facility, and space for four photographers.With strategically positioned photo holes, each photographer can capture intimate close-ups of small birds and eagles, while different angles allow for spectacular landscape shots featuring eagles, foxes, and other species against the mountain backdrop.
